Animal prints, wide-leg pants and more: The 5 best WFH fashion trends for 2022

Have you become a permanent remote employee? Or did the side-hustle you kicked off while social activities took a backseat (thanks to the cough) take off last year, and you've decided to quit your 9-5 gig?

You're not alone - with a spike of working from home, whether that's because your workplace is location-flexible or you're working for yourself now, nearly 80% of millennials want to replace at least one-third of what's in their closet. That means our wardrobes and our office outfit expectations have changed A LOT since the pandemic turned our humble kitchen table into a home office HQ.

You still want to look cute and stylish - it gets you into the work groove, but there's no way you'll put up with any more tight waistbands and itchy jumpers. 2022 is all about Business Comfort fashion.

Here are our favorite fashion trends of 2022 and how you can incorporate them into your WFH wardrobe.

Vibrant Magenta is set to be the color of the year

We're not mad about this. A pop of magenta is  the perfect way to make a statement on zoom and inject some brightness to your day. Other colors expected to be in this year will be mint, mustard, and purple. When styling such bright clothes, go easy on the rest of the outfit, pair it with a neutral like black or white, and let the magenta be the center of attention. It's also a nice pop of color and a great talking point on those Zoom calls. We love the Pink Laurya sweater, styled with a black pair of jeans and casual sneakers (when you're running out to get a coffee)!

Prints will be everywhere - especially a little animal decoration

A fashion classic - animal print, is making a comeback this year. To keep it casual enough for the home office and smart enough to feel productive, choose a comfortable loose style in a neutral color palette, like our Leopard Ageda Coat. It's one of the hottest fashion trends of the year - wear it as a shirt or throw it over a plain white tee - you can wear it at your home office desk and run out to grab lunch. Perfect!

Comfy wide-leg pants are (staying) in

Is there anything more comfortable and classy than a pair of wide-leg pants? Wide-leg pants have been a hot favorite in WFH wardrobes - and there's a good reason for it. The relaxed fit feels like you're in lounge pants but looks elevated and is effortless to wear. Everyone needs a pair of high-waisted pants like the Black Gatien Pants ones! Throw on a jean jacket when you run outside, and you've got Business Casual sorted.

Tops with plenty of volume (and personality)

Did someone say party on the top, chill on the bottom? Volume is back in, so for those days when you've got important Zoom meetings you need to look professional for - adding a long sleeve bodysuit, like the Black Damio bodysuit, is the perfect way to show off some WFH style. Throw on a pair of pants (or bike shorts), some statement jewelry, and you've got an outfit that ticks at the 2022 fashion trend boxes.

Cutouts are everywhere

Cutouts are all over the runways. A trend that can sometimes be a little 'risque' we've made sure this one is fine to show off to your manager on your call. Cutouts in knitwear are a great way to take a classic sweater and add an elegant fashion twist. We love the Green Lili Bodysuit - it even adds a little sparkle to brighten up even the gloomiest of days. Take it from home out to dinner after you finish off your hundredth Zoom call for the day with a pair of jeans. We dare you!

As someone who has already purchased several of thee pieces I can genuinely say I have fallen in love with Easy Clothes!

The pieces are always to die for and makes choosing outfits for my professional life just that much easier, I guess I now truly understand the reasoning behind the name Easy Clothes. I always receive questions and comments on my outfits and when people find out how much i payed for them there jaw drops!

With several products made in Italy and France you are able to shop the equivalent of designer brands without feeling bad about your bank account.

Couldn’t agree more with the blog post, absolutely in love!
